Sometimes we create obstacles in our mind, an obstacle that the Lord has already freed us from. We often find ourselves running back to what God is no longer calling us too.
“and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.” Mark 16:3-5 NIV
We become comfortable with our circumstances, so accustomed to the lifestyle of bondage - stuck In a slavery mindset BUT Jesus has already given us the victory and has called us to be free. The rock was rolled away, so was our sin and our pain.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ ””
When God removes us or calls us to step out in faith we become paralyzed, filled with worry and doubt - but when God closes the doors and calls us forth, HE always provides the provision for our purpose.
