It’s almost the end of the work week for some of us & there is a particular verse that I’d like to share that has been carrying me through. “Be still & know that I am God” Psalms 49:11
What does it mean to be still & know that He is God? It’s easy to get caught up in the stress of life with deadlines, bills, relationships, etc. But, I want to encourage you with this truth.
Stillness does not mean DISTRACTION from your busy schedule, stillness is RESTING in the PROMISES of God that even if you are in the middle of the hustle & bustle of life, you won’t be overwhelmed because your trust is in Him, not in you, not in your abilities, but Jesus. HE is the one who brings out peace and restoration to get the next thing done.

So whatever is next on the to do list, let's invite Jesus in it. For HE promises that His grace will carry us through!
